Press release:

Stavanger, May 14, 2018: The EVRY-owned software company Eye-share signed an agreement with Norway’s largest grocery store chain NorgesGruppen of delivery of an automated processing system for incoming invoices in 2017. The contract is an important milestone for Eye-share, as the company continues to deliver solid results.

The software company Eye-share experiences growth in both turnover and profit and recorded a turnover of MNOK 69.2, compared to MNOK 68 in 2016. The profit for 2017 was MNOK 14.1, compared with MNOK 13.4 in 2016. The company has also strengthened its staffing in 2017.

“These are solid figures that reflect that we are heading in the right direction. The company continues to grow after a short consolidation; we have implemented and used new technology, employed more people, and are closely following the developments in robotics and AI,” Managing Director Torhill Gysland Falnes says.

Large contract
The company signed agreements with 35 new customers in 2017, including an agreement on invoice automation with NorgesGruppen, which annually receives several million invoices. Norway’s largest grocery store chain will thus become Eye-share’s largest customer in terms of volume of annual invoices.

NorgesGruppen already has a well-automated process, but the goal is further efficiency based on new functionality and smarter handling.

“I experience the solution as modern and user-friendly. NorgesGruppen handles several million invoices over a year, and we rely on an automated and efficient invoice management,” Bjørn-Egil Ekhaugen, CFO of NorgesGruppen ASA, says.

“We have put a lot of resources in developing eye-share Invoice for the future. This contract is a confirmation that our software is leading in technology, functionality, and meet customer needs. We will work with NorgesGruppen to further develop the solution. Customer-driven innovation has been our approach ever since our inception, and it will remain this way,” Falnes says.

Eye-share went from an idea to become an international leading player in its market segment. Today, eye-share Invoice is used in 46 countries and contributes to significant cost savings and digital improvements for companies around the world.

Eye-share has increased by nine employees over the past year, and the company now counts 62 people.
